Meat Me in Woodstock is a short film that was produced in 2013 as an experiment to use video production as a tool for community building. I matched a local deli-owner and the Little League President, Kevin Christophora, with a twelve-year old filmmaker, Marlon DuBois. Marlon was to write and direct a short promotional video for Kevin’s shop, in exchange for a store credit. He came up with an idea that required a mob to run down the main street of Woodstock and ransack the store. We announced the shoot on Facebook, and the post was shared by 22 people and seen by 2500 people. Then, more than 40 people showed up on a chilly April morning! This is one of the most fun projects I have ever done.
